IDPA three gun

IDPA has finally added three gun to their organization.
Even better, one of the three gun divisions is for pistol caliber carbines.
Now they're talking.
The new rules are at the top of their main page at idpa.com.

I'd like to see PCCs allowed at pistol matches, scored as a separate division. We do the occasional rifle, shotgun or BUG side stage after our regular match, but if someone has enough mags for their PCC to fulfill reload requirements, why not let them shoot the pistol match?

That would be great, Rick, and it would bring back a lot of older guys who quit, due to fading eyes and joints.
But it's doubtful that it would be provided for at the national level.
There's regular complaint already of too many equipment divisions at pistol matches.
And the success of cowboy matches has been the model for three gun matches.

This is great news to see idpa get g serious about 3 gun. 3 gun nation tv show is going to make this sport explode next year. The idea rules are a little off in my opinion because I like to shoot more than their round counts.
