taurus revolvers, mainspring
I'm open for tips on best technique for removing and reinstalling the mainspring in taurus revolvers without risking shooting spring across room or into a person's face. thanks.

Wow I think you got forgotten.I had my Taurus apart today and had the spring out.Make sure gun unloaded cock back hammer on the rod for the spring you will see a small hole find something hard to put into the hole uncock and the spring will just about fall out.Put in plastic bag pull out the pin and and now you have the spring.I made a small metal tool to compress the spring to get it all back together.
