Which choke should I buy?

I was hoping to put a tactical extended remington choke tube on my HD 870.

(Just in case the zombieapocalypse occurs and the local liquor store is locked up)
(Also if I get attacked by a bear I can poke him in the eye)

It looks like this one.

http://www.remington.com/products/fi...sert_Recon.asp

I have looked everywhere and no one sells them. I called remington and they do not sell them as parts yet. So I have decided to make my own.

I would like to buy the longest Improved Cylinder choke tube that is availible for a remington 870 and then drill the holes using a drill press and cut the front using a metal band saw. Dremel smooth the burs, parkerize or blue the choke tube and then I am done.

I need to know who makes the longest choke tube that I can buy for a remington 870?

Have you tried the various choke tube makers like Briley, Trulock, etc??

I know Rhino makes a choke that has the "porting" all the way around it

http://www.rhinochokes.com/main.htm

This their turkey chokes - they make others as well

I have seen many already ported but they are either full or extra full chokes.

I need an Improved cylinder choke so I can shoot slugs through it.

Got to make sure I can make total skull and brain penetration on those zombies.

Looking at the photo from remingtons site, it appears the choke tube extends passed the barrel for about an inch and a half to two inches.

Rhino makes target chokes in all constrictions, but I do not believe the ported extensions are quite that long - more like an inch - but the porting is already done - they're not cheap, but they are well-made....(I shoot sporting clays at his course where his shop is)

The Remington breacher ported choke tube extends past the barrel 2". If you want a screw on breacher/muzzle brake & flash suppressor that works and not just for looks King Armory is the one to contact. I believe they can weld one on a choke tube for you

Someone makes the breacher ported choke tubes for Remington. You will probably see some for sale soon.

I looked at there site and they do not sell any screw in choke tubes, It looks like they do some type of custom work to the barrel but they do not make a screw in choke tube to do this.

Contact KingJoey @ Shotgun World, THR, AR15.com member. King Armory can do almost anything.

Wigidwack wins!! Great improvision.

Except wouldn't the heat from the barrel melt the tape?
