Question about Russian primers.

Hi,
I bought a box of 1000 large pistol primers. They are in a green & white box but I can't tell what the brand name is. There are the letters HMF in a box and also a circle with a vertical line through it and an "M" inside the circle.
The box is marked heavy metal free and non-corrosive.
I bought them to use for .45ACP.
I got these because they were $17.95 as opposed to $24.95 of CCI #300 primers. I typically use only CCI or W-W but with the cost of lead and everything going up something had to give.

Have any of you used these and if so how are they?

Thanks,
PB

I have large rifle primer with the same markings, but now made by Wolf. They are very good primers. I haven't tried the pistol primers though. My experiece is they are just a little bit larger, so they take more force to seat correctly. If you don't have them bottomed out real well you will get misfires.

Thanks. I shot 100 rds of .45ACP with them and they seemed okay. I'm loading up a bunch more now.
