new bans and gun law?

im not new to the world of guns but i am new to the world of gun law. i hve been reading about the new weapons ban and i dont really understand it and i was wondering if someone could simplify all the new bans and regulations that are lurking around. i would also like to know when these new bans are going before congress and if there is anything i can do to stop it as a concerned american citizen and input would be greatly appreciated

As far as I'm aware. there are no new gun bans before congress. What there are, are rumors.

There is a Watch-List for this type of legislation, that is stickied at the top of this forum.

Being a member of the NRA is a good step for helping to prevent more of the types of legislation that would curtail our 2A rights.
