suppressor and federal bulk 22lr

I am in the process of picking up a suppressor for my various 22lr guns and had a question about ammo.

All of my 22s get a good feeding of pretty much only federal bulk pack 22lr. I am new to the suppressor thing so I was wondering if there are any issues shooting this ammo in them (Outback II and/or Tac65).

Thanks,
JR

They'll be loud out of a rifle length barrel, but you'll really enjoy them out of a pistol length barrel...

Standard .22LR will break the sound barrier out of a barrel over 10" or so, and you will hear the sonic crack once the projectile leaves the supressor can. If you want to have the awesomeness that is quiet out of a rifle, you need to get some subsonic or match/target grade ammo.

Out of a pistol it really doesn't matter as the barrel is short enough to prevent supersonic speeds.

I generally use Remington .22 subsonic for my general plinking with my supressor and match grade ammo for shooting accurately out of the rifle.

Supressors are a blast, you'll have loads of fun with it.
