Bull barrel vs bushing?

I notice some higher end makers offer bull barrels in their pistols,
but none, to my knowledge offer a 1911 in bull barrel.
Tangfoglio and the CZ custom shop offer some pistols in Bull barrel.
Are they better than/as good as a bushing?

Better than, as good as, I don't know. Wildcat Mccane says you don't need a bushing or muzzle contact at all, as per Peter design.

Virtually every 1911 with a barrel 4" or shorter will have a bushingless, bull barrel.
Adding some weight to the muzzle end of the gun for balance, and to perhaps delay unlocking slightly, are the benefits.
Disassembly is different, but I don't know if it's really better or worse than a bushing gun.
I like to be able to adjust the fit of the muzzle via a bushing, but if you wear-out the fit of a bull barrel, it might be time for a new barrel, anyway.

There are lots of 1911s with bull barrels. A lot of the compensated competition guns, starting in the 70’s, had bull end barrels. Either one, properly fitted will work great.

One reason CZ custom went with a bull barrel on some of their guns is too maintain the same overall weight but reduce the reciprocating weight.

I will see if the muzzle flip is different between my CZ 97E and the Tanfoglio-
another good way to use my time.
