browning a bolt

Had a 280 A bolt chamberd to a AI, now it will not pick up a shell from the magazine... Any suggestions? Thanks Steve

Steve, if you mean that the rifle jams when feeding then I'd take it back to the smith who rechambered it and have him get it right. Ensuring proper function is part of the job. If you mean that the bolt just goes right over the cartriges without picking one up then I'd suspect the rifle isn't assembled correctly. George
