Moose Molds

I ordered a Sharp's ringtail mold from Moose Molds and it is a very nice, solid built, high quality mold with heavy duty handles. The sprue hole is generous so filling it should be trouble free. I've had to drill the hole bigger in some of my Lee molds to get big bullets to completely cast. I haven't tried it yet but it won't be long. They are great people to deal with and they will even make them left handed. If you need a hard to find black powder Sharp's mold they make them in several different sizes. They make other hard to find bp molds like Gallagher, Smith and Maynard carbines.

I like the way it is put together with the allen screws that hold the mold half to the handle and the self locking nut on the sprue cutter. A sprue cutter that won't stay tight is like a wife who keeps whining about a trip to Miami.
