maveric and 500?

Hey fellas I'm thinking of picking up a rifled slug barrel for my mod. 88 I was wondering if the 500 barrles will interchange. From what I've seen they look alike but its the little things that you don't notice that always hang you up.

100% positive without a doubt.. any 500 and 88 barrels DO interchange!

He is 100% correct without a doubt. I own both, and barrels do interchange.

I think the only concern might be if you had the 8 shot maverick security, you are very limited in the selection of 8 shot mossberg barrels out there!
