continuing love affair with my bp remmy from uberti

Today took a drive out in the country with my 12 year old son to shoot my 1858 remington 44 with an 8 inch barrel from uberti. this is about the 6th time ive fired this gun an so far ive put about 200 454 lead balls through it using goex fffg black powder and remington #10 caps.today at about 15yds i was just taking out tin can after tin can with it. 30 grain loads with this gun seem to get the most acuracy out of it.It is by far most accurate handgun I own.My 12 yr old loves loading this gun ,under my supervision of course,an now he wants one also.Maybe ill start my own posse! Two of my friends I shoot with have also bought one of these an they love theirs to.I used to think this was a hobby gun but the more i use it the more confidence I have in it .I wouldnt have a second thought about using this gun to shoot a bad guy with.I also dont have to worry about ammunition shortages with this gun ive had no problems finding supplies for it yet.I hardly shoot my modern handguns anymore now i just buy ammo for them and clean them an shoot a few rounds out of them once in a while.

That's cool! Always glad to hear. Did you already post pics of this gun?
