I want a full auto Uzi and need advice on what is best version or type. Are the Vector Arms Uzi"s worth the $2,995.00 selling price? They are supposed to have better parts fit and finnish and essentially a new gun built from parts on new surplus Group Industries receivers. Is the IMI A-model or the B-model beter? Please offer any advice.

Go to http://www.gunsnh.com and check with Jim McLoud. He is a great guy and is selling Vector's for $2,895.

Check his ad at http://subguns.biggerhammer.net/nfaad.cgi?read=34625.

I offer you this:

Here is some good information on the Uzi...
My favorite is the Mini Uzi. I want one.
This is even more UN-PC than a Kalishnikov.

Vector, Vector, Vector

Buy a Vector, you won't be sorry (there's a 1-year warranty). I've got two. Forget the conversion guns, way too many variables (see Thomas Hoel, "The Uzi SMG Conversions," Small Arms Review, May 1998 (1:8), pp. 66-75. You can find Vectors on Bowers Board http://subguns.biggerhammer.net/nfaad.cgi) for as little as $2750. See review by Bob Bishop in Small Arms Review, Sept 2000 (3:12), p. 32-37.

Don't buy through a dealer unless you get this kind of price; otherwise, buy it directly and just do the transfer through a dealer. If you can buy three at once, the price goes down to about $2400. Rumor is that Vector may raise prices after the first of the year.
