Pietta vs Uberti frame size

May as well drive you all mad all at once with noob questions.

My first BP was the Uberti 1858 Remington. I bought the Uberti because I had seen a video demonstrating the size difference between the Uberti and Pietta 1858. The Pietta was noticeably larger and according to the author not historically accurate.

I do not live near a dealer so going and comparing is not very practical.

Is this true and is it true of all the several replicas?

I know the Peitta also has the tail issue on the Colt army and or navy.

Uberti is closer to original frame size as was Euroarms(ASP). It seems as if Pietta has done away with the tail. At least they have on the G&G for sure.
