Price check...

Just checking....A local pawn shop has a Mossberg Maverick Model 88 for sale(12 gauge)....Zytel (I think ) forearm and pistol grip. Looks like someone spilled some acid or something on the barrel and the receiver.....Needs to be refinished. Whats it worth??

They were at wally world new for about $175. I would not give over 100 bucks for one. Hope this helps.

That sounds about right to me....$125.00 for one that needs refinished is a little too high.....

That about right for one indecent shape.
I wouldn't offer more than 50 if it was in good mechanical condition.

I would go about a third of what it cost new. I bet they the guy beat up hard who traded/sold it and don't have much in it. I don't know about one that sounds rough when you can hit Wal-Mart and get a new one.
