Help identify these Colt grips

Hi everyone

Hoping for help identifying these grips. They were in my late uncle’s firearms items and I can’t seem to match them to any of his revolvers.

Thanks in advance!

Those are a set of Third Issue Colt Python grips that someone sanded the checkering off of.
This was not unusual, some people didn't like the checkering so they sanded them down.
The value has been ruined, but you could still sell them on eBay or one of the gun auction sites for $50 to $100.

Here's what they looked like originally.....

And sanded away their significant value.... the asking would have been around $300.
