Which Ameriglo Sights for Older Eyes On EDC
I've read some good things about Ameriglo sights for my edc S&W M&P Shield 9mm. ..bought the Shield with the cheapest 3-dot white sights S&W sells figuring I'd upgrade. But, wow, there are a lot of choices. These gotta be quick acquisition & work both in day & night. My eyes do well at longer distances but not as well up close. There's no shortage of opinions on any of the various brands--have considered the XS Big Dot & Trijicons--but right now am leaning toward Ameriglo. But can always change my mind if recommendations are right.

I really like ones with both fiber optics and tritium, they have the best of both worlds. BTW I read somewhere that the green/yellow are the brightest. I went with the truglo pro on one and meprolight (non fiber) on another. The fiber combo is better in my opinion.

I find the red front, green rear easiest to pick up. Have them on two SIGs.
