Markings on 1911 frame

I have a 1911 frame with a Colt .22 conversion kit on it. I don't know the maker of the frame. The only markings are on it are: on the right side is Cal .45 and a four digit number I assume to be a serial number, and on the other side is a F by the trigger. I realize this is not much info, but does anyone know who might have made this frame, or if there's other places to look for identifying marks?

Can you post a couple of pics? Sometimes it's possible to identify a frame, even with no markings, from the contours.
