Source for bulk bullets, powder, and primers
Hello. I'm new to this forum and am new to reloading. I have a Dillon 1050 press I need to feed. Right now I have it set up for .223. I have a great source for brass, but doing the math, I'm pretty sure I can do better if I buy my bullets, powder, and primers in quantity. If anybody can set me in the right direction, that would be wonderful!

Wideners, Brownells, Mid-South, Midway, Sportsman's Guide, Missouri Bullet Company. I usually shop around and end up ordering from Powder Valley. Really nice folks in my opinion and competitive prices though it appears everything is really going up again.

An extra reason for Powder Valley
When you get gunpowder or primeers shipped to you, the shipper will charge a HazMat (hazardous material) fee. It normally is in the $20.00 range whether you are ordering one pound of powder or twelve pounds.
Powder Valley will charge only one HazMat fee for an order that contains both gunpowder and primers because they ship both from one location. That is not always the case with other dealers. |

just so you know, if you order from wideners it takes, and i'm not joking, 4 weeks to get your stuff. for me thats totally unacceptable. that and their website is from the 90's when the internet first started. for stress free ordering and service go with midway and second is graf and sons. I have not ordered from powder valley, but will try them out some time as their prices are good.

Loading 223....general plinking and target ammo?
Wideners has Hornady 55gr FMJBT for $77/k...buy in lots of 6k Wideners has Wolf SRM Primers for around $17/k...buy in bulk Hi-Tech Ammo has 8lb kegs WC844/H335 powder for $90....buy 4 kegs and they waive Hazmat. Using the components listed above with brass I've acquired at no cost I can load 1k rds for around $135. My load is accurate and reliable in all my rifles. Sent from my DROIDX using Tapatalk 2 |
