Submitting a trust
When filing a Form 1, how is the trust submitted? I assume a copy is mailed with the form, right?
What if you are submitting online? A scanned trust copy? Thanks! |

Yes,
There is a point in the on-line app that allows you to upload a copy.

I have done two online (10/22 and Lone Wolf 9mm), now waiting on a third (AR receiver registered with a 10.5" .300 BO upper).
First two took about 3 months each.

I think the wait varies by region. It seems some regions are busier than others and each has the same number of inspectors.

I thought BATFE had given up the "region" system and just had a first in first out system now.

4-5 Months is actually the shortest it has been in some time. Mine was 5 months but expect another half month to month AFTER it is approved since they send them out in batches. Totally worth the wait though. I was just at the range with my own NFA items and it is so much fun. Kind of scary when you turn around and there is a horseshoe of people around you watching.

I got notification my application has been changed to "submitted/in process."
Is there anything else I need to do? Or do I just wait? |
