Ruger SR40c. Fantastic pistol.
I have several 1911s for reasons that are likely self-explanatory. Ruger Mark pistols. Ruger GP100. Have a 4" and 6". Beretta 92fs/M9a1. Just fantastic pistols for which one is not enough. If the zombies come this is my handgun. Mini 14. One is not enough. One set up for distance, one for CQ zombie shooting.

2 Beretta Cheetahs, both Nickel
2 Beretta 92FS Compacts 2 Remington Model Seven 243 Rifles Why? As for the two Cheetahs, I just really like them, they're hard to find, so when I had a chance at the second one, I snatched it up. When I'm wearing cargo shorts, I often carry one cheetah in my front cargo pocket and the other IWB. The extra 92FS Compact and the extra 243 are for my teenage son, who isn't old enough to carry yet, but he likes to shoot them and knows they will be his.

I don't have exact duplicates of any handguns but I do own the same models in different calibers.
9mm and 45 Auto Witness Matches. 9mm Witness P-S and 45 Auto Witness P Carry. 357 and 45 Blackhawk Convertibles. I also have two SP101s, a 2.25" 357 and a 4.2" 22LR. It's a collection thing for me. My dream handgun battery consists of a DA revolver, SA revolver, DA pistol and SA pistol each in small, medium and large bore. (Plus the 357 SP101 for carry for a nice round number of 13 handguns.) I need just two more, a DA 22 pistol and a DA 45 revolver. |

I've got the 9mm and 40S&W compact Glocks, if that counts. I'll also end up getting multiple calibers of the USP once funds are available. I love that gun so much. I like diversity in my same models. Lol

I have 5 1911 pistols; three full size Governments, one Commander, one Officers size. Two Ruger Super Blackhawks, two Blackhawks. Had two S&W 686s, one 6" and one 4". Traded the 6" to my brother, still have the 4".

Beretta 92 (my favorite platform)
I own several Beretta pistols, 2X92fs 2XM9's a couple 92 slides on M9 frames, and a couple "Frankenstein Berettas" that were assembled from parts buys I made.
Also a couple 1990's Taurus PT92 pistols, they aren't Berettas, but I find them to be just as reliable.

What pistol do you own duplicate(s) of?
Nearly all of them, because "any pistol worth having is worth having two (or more) of". Mostly it's so that you have one to shoot, one to carry. (In practical terms you still shoot the CCW gun intermittently in order to ensure reliability and consistency, but you don't have to always be cleaning the EDC gun.) Over a period of decades, this has resulted in duplicates of many different guns in my case.

Until a couple of weeks ago I had 2 identical FNP40s. Bought and shot the first one and loved its feel and accuracy so figured I wanted another to shoot after I wore out the first one. Had 300 or less rds through the first one bought and put around 3000 rds through the second, which is my EDC gun. Fell in love with a Sig P229 Elite Stainless so sold the low-round count FNP to fund the Sig. Just picked up the Sig, need to clean it and get some rounds through it.
