I have 350 gr. lead gas checked and 405 gr. lead non-gas checked bullets. I was hoping to use AA5744. I cannot find any specific load data for those two bullet weights. I would appreciate any help. Thank you, Eric

I have some older data that shows the maximum charge of 5744 for a 350 gr cast bullet is 51 grains, and a 405 gr cast is 49 grains, both @ 3.00" COAL with Remington 9-1/2M primers. These loads will give 2000-2100 fps.

5744 powder is NOT position sensative, so you can go with very light load densities and still get good, consistent ignition, but I'd stay with magnum primers. Loads as low as 35 grains of powder will be accurate and give around 1500-1600 fps.
