Best/most popular pcp air rifle?
Looking to get a pcp just wondering what is the most popular standard air rifle? I want this pcp to be to other air rifles as the Rem 870 is to other shotguns. Not looking for the absolute highest grade most expensive one just the most common "gold standard" type
Thanks! |

Found it! The Air Arms S400. Finally I'll have a nice plinking gun, so much cheaper to operate than all my other guns and I can fire it in my back yard!

Air
The Air Arms guns are very popular. You will enjoy the gun.
You do not mention how you are going to get air into the gun. What method have you chosen? In addition.....if you have not already purchased the S400.... Look at the Benjamin Marauder. Nicely made PCP. Less than half the price of the S400, more velocity, available in three calibers, can be easily adapted to CO2 if you wish. I own the pistol version and it has proven accurate, reliable and powerful (.22) Pete

I looked at the marauder but really like the look of the AA. I plan on getting a 4500 psi carbon fiber tank. Dive shops are plentiful around here so filling shouldn't be a problem but ill have to check to make sure they can handle the 4500 psi

I don't know about it being a "gold standard" but the Benjamin Marauder is very popular in airgun circles. I was thinking about getting one.
