Best bullet AR15 1:7

I just ordered a new SPR WOA 18" 1:7 barrel for my AR-15. It will be a few weeks before I get it. I want to know what you guys think would be a good bullet to reload for this setup. I may do some match shooting with it but I want something I can hunt with as well. Any suggestions on a bullet powder combo that would be a good starting point for my setup. My AR is setup for long range. 100-600 yards.

I shoot a WOA Service Rifle Upper, 20 Inch 1:7.

It's my High Power AR, shooting mostly 200,300, 600 & 1000 yards, plus lots of practice at reduced targets at 100 yards.

For 2 & 300 yards I use the 77 SMKs, for 600 & 1000 I use the 80 SMKs.

For 100 yard practice I use hornady 53 grn bullets. These bullets work great in my White Oak.

The 77 & 80 SMKs are probably the most popular High Power bullets in High Power Circles.

The 77s can be loaded to fit the mag. The 80 is designed to be loaded long but 600 & 1000 yard service rifle matches require the single loading so that's not a problem.

The Army used 77 SMKs in their SDM (Squad Designated Marksman) Rifles which use the 1:7 twist.

With the 80 gr bullets do you hand feed them or do you have a single round mag?

What about a hunting round? I know the match rounds are good for matches but what about hunting medium size deer and say prarrie dogs?

If you don't mind sharing, what charge do you prefer under your 53-grainers for a 1:7 20" barrel. TIA

Yes I load the 80 singly, I just lay them on my 20 round mags. I don't hunt with ARs. for prairie dogs I use either my Rem 700 Varmint (1:12) and the same 53 grn bullets. (or my Ruger #1 in 204).

for 53s I use 25.5 grns of H335. Same load in my 1:7 White Oak, My Colt SP1 and my Remington 700 Varmint).

In my target loads (77 & 80 grs) I use 24.4 grns of RL15.
