Go on www.gunsinternational.com and see what dealers/people are asking for that gun, much more than the $850.

Begin with the MSRP, which I believe to be $1,425. Then see what the street price is for a new one. I didn't see a 28 GA on Guns International, but a new 12 with an asking price of $1200. Asking price is one thing, but can you find out what they are selling for on Guns International? $850 doesn't sound unfair to me. That is 29% off the street price and you say it is mint condition.

Gun Broker is a auction house-- found one small bore SKB 505 in 20 gauge,
starting price $1650.00, way higher, OK. Guns International list the prices the dealer is asking for the gun. Gun Broker shows the Starting bid and the price goes up from there. If you go online the "SKB new gun company" shows 20 gauge as the smallest gauge offered, this is a older SKB and msrp prices no longer are valid. On gun broker when I saw those high starting bids I moved on, most of them never got a bid and had to be relisted. Did not know about GI first time I'd visited the site was today.

Jaguar, All I know is I googled SKB 505 and this popped up at the top of the page. Apparently, it is SKB's page and it lists an MSRP for the 505 28 GA field gun.
