Anybody have any experience with Isreali surplus ammo?

I need some feedback on the merits/problems of surplus Isreali .308 ammo that anyone has experienced.. My FAL loves the Portugese stuff I've been feeding it and I've come across some Isreali stuff. I saw some comments on another board that warned about numerous misfires, failures to feed, etc so I thought I would throw this out and see what I get.

Thanks in advance!

Hey Aggie,
While I can't speak for the IMI .308 I use the .223 ammo all of the time, and they are very good. In fact, their SS109 rounds, are one of the best. Never any feed problems etc.

I bought some of the Israeli bulk 308 ammo. It shoots great in my Saiga. I've had no problems with it.

Thanks for the input. One of my hunting buds went ahead and got 500 rounds, so I'll get back if the stuff is not good.
