Price difference

While at a LGS yesterday I noticed that the line of VV powders are substantially more expensive than other powders. What is the reason for the higher price and is it worth the higher price.

Imported from Europe. (except now/soon to be manufactured in USA by Western Powders).

VV powders are very good for consistency between lots, and some competitors use them with very good results shooting long range.

On that note, a lot of competitors are using IMR4895, Varget, and Reloader15 with just as good results too, so YMMV.
