Kahr K-40 w/black-t

I just bought a new Kahr K-40 with factory black-t finish and night sights,anybody own one? were they a limited factory run?. I'm not sure how durable the black-t finish is but i like like looks of it compared to the matte black K-40 I sold to a friend that "had to have it" the gun is brand new and mass compliant so it was made before may 98.

It was on their catalog for a while, but then they stopped making them. I got one a few years back. The Black-T finish will scratch, but it is probably better than their standard matte black finish.
