I would really like to find the following, if it exists:

--Binoculars of extremely high quality - something like Zeiss, Leica, Swarovski, etc.

--WITH a built in laser range-finder that is as easy to use as my Bushnell Yardage Pro RF.

--In about 6 power, maybe 5, maybe 7. Seems like all you see is binocs with 10 power, or at least 8, even with tiny objectives - that's just too much IMO.

--That is compact, but not too small - something with about a 32-38mm objective, give or take.

Does it exist? I'm willing to pay a good little bit for such an animal - up to $1K.

It does exist, but you're about $2000 light.

+1 Leica Geovids (the new ones)

If you can't stomach $1800 for the best, look at the Burris.

Hmmmm, k. $2,600 for the geovid at the first site that popped up - no can do with that price. The Burris looks to be the extent of what I could actually afford - 7x40mm is about right too. Thanks all.

The new Geovids are about $1500-1900.

The old ones were more.
