The 10 Dumbest Things I Heard About Guns at the UN
https://www.forbes.com/sites/tedbrom.../#15bdb842e95f
This is a great blow by blow of the most recent UN Small Arms conference meeting. Some of the highlights are that Bloomberg groups attended as NGOs and that Australia and Mexico both took the view that the best way to prevent the illicit trafficking of small arms was to make all small arms trafficking illicit. Not really an immediate threat but good, if depressing, insight into international level thinking on the subject. |

Not really surprising coming from that group. There are several other 'gems' that UN subcommittees have come up with that defy logic, reality and truth.
Look at the composite of the group, yea, not a major surprise. (Avoiding getting on soap box and pointing out serious political issues on the UN processes)
