3 from 35! What to do?

G,day. You ungrateful pack of skirt wearing SOB.
I have 35 new threads and 3 have not had responses. I don't know why I bother wasting my time with you.

Seriously though. How many new threads have you had 0 responses to?
Maybe it's time to drag them out of the depths.
What do you do to get responses in your threads?

I haven't had any yet, figured I'd respond to this one so you wouldn't have to change you numbers. . I tend to ask controversial questions alot of the time, so maybe that helps, I don't know. Other than that I have no special "tricks". G'day!

Give us time. Most here need to wake up and get out of bed before posting.

Seriously, the forum is busiest in the evenings after most folks get home from work. Right now it's just after 5am on the Pacific Coast in America, the east is 3 hours later. Another 8 or 9 hours and the place gets a bit more crowded.

Be patient (already mentioned)

Reword your question.

Ask on another board.

Don't blame us: we don't know.

It is a bulletin board: there is no obligation to answer or reply to every question asked.

Who told you I wear a skirt?! It is NOT a skirt...it is a K-I-L-T!

To answer your question, I've had four threads that no one answered.

No worries mate.

It's a UTILIKILT!

Hey, "rule of thumb" is, if you got no response from a posting, it ain't worth reviving ... take a hint.

I've started 54 threads and three got no response. Two of them were providing feedback to sellers and one was my attempt to give a way a Lee Safety Powder Scale. Seems like pretty good response to me.

OTOH: I am counting the threads that have just one response and most of those simply say "Closed".

G'day, the question came up yesterday from somebody else. So I thought I would throw it out to everybody else. They got a little upset and started calling names.

With 2 of my unanswered threads I re-asked the same question under different forum sub titles and got good responses. Maybe my number should be 1 from 33

What I do: give it a little time, rewrite the post, and put it up with a different title. It's usually the title that's the problem.
