NEW S&W M&P Compact concealed carry light!
NEW S&W M&P Compact concealed carry light!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I carry a compact S&W M&P .40 for my concealed at all times. I wanted a light for it but most were too heavy too bulky etc. not to mention expensive. Just yesterday I was checking out crimson trace's laser grip for my M&P ( also expensive) when too my pleasant surprise I found their new "Lightguard". Now given it isn't out yet but it is listed on the site and listed as "coming soon" with a price of 150 bucks which considering the advantages and all the competitors it isn't bad at all IMO. Also listed on the site are some holsters to accomodate the lightguard that would be good for concealed carry. I am very excited about its release it should meet my specs perfectly, What kinda input can I get from the multitudes on this item? http://www.crimsontrace.com/tabid/614/Default.aspx |

Thats a smaller alternative to the bulky tac lights. Too bad it only fits a full size model. Good way for them to sell holsters for their own product too.

I really do not have any use for a gun mounted light. I do not want to point a loaded gun at someone who is no threat in order to identify them as threat/no threat. As a matter of fact, there are very serious criminal implications (assault with a deadly weapon) for this if a DA is of the mind to pursue it. I have just found that I can get by just as well with a hand light and not get into the situation above. JMO and YMMV
