Garcia 380

Need some info. My father may be interested to buy some pistols off a man. One of them is a model 19 and the other is a "garcia 380" Does anyone know if there is a pistol with this name? I know there is a Garcia corporation that imported spanish pistols and was thinking he mighta gotten the names confused. What was the time period Garcia imported pistols from Spain? Thanks

The "garcia 380" might be a piece sold by Garcia Corporation. If so, it will be marked "FI Ind. Wash. D.C." on the left side of the slide, and on the right side, "FI Mod. D cal..380". The s/n will have a prefix of CPAxxxxxx. It's a well-made 1911 design w/o a grip safety. I have no idea of it's value.
