WILL the BHP AMBIDEXTERIOUS SAFETY FIT the KAREEN, ISRAELI CLONE?

I'm falling heir to a MK1 Kareen 9mm "clone" of the FN HI POWER. - Do any of our members KNOW whether the ambi-safety for the BHP will fit the Israeli Kareen or NOT?? yours, sw

THANK YOU. Now I have to find such a safely, being a southpaw & hopefully W/O paying scalper's prices. This pistol, btw, is either some sort of hard chrome or a "more or less matte" nickel. - I just don't know which. - It's supposedly an Israeli civilian police trade-in, with some scratches/nicks in the metal. yours, sw
