i bought some interesting 12 ga slugs.
1 3/4". midway says they may not cycle well in pumps and not at all in semi autos. i cycled(not firing) them in my mossberg 500 with no problem. these 7/8 oz. mini slugs go 1250 fps. thats a 70 cal. right? now i wonder why not a "judge" revolver made for these?
http://www.midwayusa.com/product/738...slug-box-of-20 and i bought these all steel slugs for $3.99/5 at gunshow. maybe a good anti bear round? http://www.midwayusa.com/product/670...-free-box-of-5 opinions on these two? hows accuracy in a smooth bore open choke? |

I'm interested in these rounds, sabot slugs are not cheap. And what I can find are some serious hunting rounds. These look like something I'd be interested in, they aren't overkill for home defense. I've got a Mossberg and it says some guns may not cycle them well. But at about half the price of regular sized shells, looks like a good option.
