Thompson Center Prices

Shooters:
So I'm thinking about getting a Thompson Center handgun. I've been to their web site and while there is lots of good info, I can't seem to find any MSRP?
Help?

New Contenders and Encores can be difficult to find. A call to Ed at Ed's Contenders ( http://www.edstc.com/ ) would be a wise start. Best prices; remarkable inventory; weak website.

Here are a couple links to a forum that might help. The Contenderforum is sponsored by Ed's by the way.

Getting ahold of Ed this time of year is difficult. He's a CPA by trade and he's alittle busy this time of year. Don't email, call and leave a message. T/C (now owed by S&W unfortunately) hasn't been making the G2 frames in quite some time so they are scarce.

Hmmmmm . . . . .

Hmmmmm, well guess I may have to rethink my next purchase.
Thanks for all the info. There were two TC pistols at a recent auction near my home town, but I wasn't home and the online bidding premium was an outrageous 15% so I had to pass . . . . Ah well.

Try Kittery Trading Post used guns on line. They have a large selection of T/C handguns in stock.

Don't give up on the T/C. But remember you'll need to have another budget just for barrels. Their like potato chips, ya can't stop with one!

Everything but . . . on e-bay

Shooters:
I checked for TC "stuff" on e-bay and it looks to me like you can get just about anything a guy would want . . . except the receiver. Which makes sense.
Hmmmmmm . . . . . .

Prof, the stuff on Fleabay is generally overpriced - I check it regularly looking for good deals. If you really want to get into Encores, check that link I posted. The guys on that forum are serious about their T/C shooting.

Thanks Doyle

Thanks Doyle. Will do. I think I'm going to look at forums, website etc and try to educate myself some on this firearm before I take the plunge.
