leupold mark 4 scopes.

How do they compare compared to say a vx-3? in a 4-12x40.

I have heard that a lot of the Mark IV's arent any better than the vx-3's . They just have 3 adj knobs instead of 2 and maybe a couple more options . I have been happy with my leupolds . I have never owned a mark IV , but , I had a buddy with one on a Rem pss .308 and the combo would easily shoot clover leafs at 100yds . Thats $2500.00-$3000.00 worth of hardware though it damn sure better .
