Just built the small bench- just started reloading so this small setup does everything i need

Nice and cozy! Just one thing... consider moving the tumbler out of living quarters, as it will be producing lead-containing dust that your whole household will then be inhaling. Perhaps the garage, or even outside in some climates.

I have mentioned a time or two the under bench toolo mounting system I use, and again address it as another solution to bench crowding.

Rembrandt's extruded track in the bench surface is nicely done and appears quite usable.

However, my system leave the bench top up cluttered, uncut and undrilled, while still allowing for use of many tools.

Basicly it is like a trailor hitch receiver system except it is mounted under the bench.

On mine, I use two receivers as apposed to the single used on a pickup/trailor set up.

This allows for use of one or both receiver tubes, depending on the type of tool/stress in use. Example I use two receivers for a press and only one to mount something like a powder measure.

I have two pairs of receiver tubes under my bench, and it would be a small matter to add more if so needed

As I said before, this leaves the bench top clean, uncut, and undrilled.

Wish it had been my idea, but a friend was the first to use it as far as I know.

Now, he isn't the last.

I just built a new male portion to the system a couple weeks ago, this time for my new Hornady L&L progressive.

Great way to go and still have a nice bench top.

Mine when I'm loading inside and not on the garage bench much warmer inside this time of year.

This works OK for me. The little O-frame is for 357 & 44mag stuff. The 650 is for 45acp and plinkers. If I want 10 rounds to chrono, it's trickle and single stage all the way. If I need 3-500 rds of 45 the the 650 really shines

IllinoisCoyoteHunter, are those lead muffins I see in the lower left corner of this picture? I use a muffin tin as an ingot mold, but you're the only other person I've ever seen that also has a collection of lead muffins.

I found this thread very entertaining and have made a few un-scientific observations about equipment.
1. It seems almost everyone owns some sort of Lee press.
2. RCBS seems to be the second most used equipment.
3.Reloaders who own Hornady LNL seem to own only progressive and one single stage.
4. Reloaders who use Dillon presses seem to own more than one which makes me think they must be a pita to change calibers.
5.Redding and Lyman are almost non-existent.
6.Judging by reloading rooms and benchs, people who Dillons are rich and all the rest of us are poor.
As I stated this is just my observation and is only valid by the contributers of this thread.

Yes I am one of a hand full of people who will never ever own a lee product. I have wasted money on three products and none lasted over 30 minutes of normal use.

2. RCBS seems to be the second most used equipment.

I agree because they are high quality products and made to last a life time but, will not make you mortgage the house 2 times to own them.

3.Reloaders who own Hornady LNL seem to own only progressive and one single stage.

New to reloading most on them I bet.

Changing calibers is a breeze it is the priming system that is a PITA to fool with that is why you see many double 550 or 650 set ups. Because we hate to change the priming system.

5.Redding and Lyman are almost non-existent.

I like Lyman and I am sure like lee many people at a few lyman products. Redding are well expensive for what you get. Granted Redding equipment is very good and the big boss press is built so that if you wanted to you can reload 105mm ammo. They are tough and built like a tank.

I would not go that far. I am far from rich and there is a dillon sitting on my bench. I know plenty of people who are not rich and use dillon products. I love my dillon press and glad I have it. It took me years of dreaming before my wonderful loving wife got me one.I have known about dillon presses long before many of the fanboys knew. I knew about them when they 450 was the only press they made.
