Ruger LCP Custom ?

I have a Ruger LCP Custom that has approx 200 rounds through it,and it is approx 6 months old. Just recently I noticed that the front sight was no longer on the pistol. With the front sight missing how much resell value drops in my pistol if I were to sell it?

I would attempt to fix it before selling.

I just google LCP Custom front sight to see what they look like and many of the search results were people with the same problem as you. I'd contact Ruger customer service. I'd bet they resolve the issue some how.

Just so ya'll know,I was going to sell the pistol before knowing the sight was missing. This is a point and shoot gun for up close self defense. To me personally, sights are not important at all to me. When I go to the shooting range I shoot/train like I were to be in a self defense situation. Simply....point and shoot. I doubt there will ever come a time in a self defense situation that someone will actually take the time to aim and shoot, esp. closing one eye and aiming.

Call Ruger. Because it really shouldn't have been loose enough in it's dovetail to move by itself.

I have the same gun. The front sight is held on by a screw through the slide. As for the fix send it back to ruger. Ruger will probably pay for shipping or just ship the slide.

Good News! I just called Ruger. I will be shipping the slide only to them. Cost to ship should be less than $10,and they will ship it back to me for free. Very Cool! Man...I like Ruger!
