Hello to all! Quick Question
I am in posession of what I was told was a German Mauser. I am hoping that you all can help identify it. On the barrel it reads BOHLER SPEZIAL 8007 in a 30-06 caliber with the date 1952 or 54 on bottom of the barrel. All help is greatly appreciated

It is going to take pictures.
A Mauser is pretty recognizeable if you have seen a few hundred, although there are a lot of fine details that the collectors have fun with. Bohler is a European steel company, undoubtedly made the metal for the barrel. |
