RCBS

I just received a used press that is suppose to be the SURPREME. The handle side is stamped RCBS the other is stamped, RC 11. Where the piston comes through the top is stamped A81.

Can someone tell me if this is the SUPREME or not. I know this is a good press, but I was spending extra money for the SUPREME and wanting to make sure this is what I have. I can't seem to find a picture I can see the cast stamps.

Probably just their part number markings. I don't have one, but just call RCBS and ask? 1-800-533-5000.

I think, but I'm not totally sure, that the Rockchucker Supreme is the latest model, superseding the Rockchucker II (2). Be interesting to find out the answer, though.

My Rock Chucker supreme has RCBS on one side, and RC IV on the other. That's RC 4.

Gunrac, are you sure that's not RC II on the side of your press?

That's what I'm thinking also. My main concern is the new #4 Piggyback { 5 STATION } system will only work on the SUPREME. I'm hoping to add this unit later on. I need to make sure I have the right press.

Rock Chucker then. You need the Piggyback 3.

Hmmm...Everything I reading say's that the #3 piggyback will work on RS III or the RS V. It doesn't say it say it will work on any of the older presses, but maybe it will. I still don't want to take a chance on a maybe, if ya know what I mean.

I thought about getting the piggyback kit when I wanted to move up to a progressive, I ended up just getting the Pro 2000, glad I did as I'm quite happy with it.

I just ordered the auto index upgrade kit tonight as I've been curious as to how it worked, the thing was supposed to come out around the end of January but has been backordered forever. I see it is already out of stock again from where I ordered mine.

The piggy back 3 will work on the RCII (rock chucker 2). I have both and they work.

Personally I rarely use the piggy back and instead bought a Dillon 550B (and now a 650) for all my pistol and small rifle loads.

The RC is a great press and I use mine for most of my rifle loads.
