SPS Pistols from Spain (Barcelona)
On one of my local gun shops' webpages I found a link to a gun producer.
It is to a Catalan (not Spanish! They hate being called Spanish) 1911 manufacturer called SPS. Ever heard of them? Are they any good? The appear to cater, at least partly, to the race/comp market, but some models look like they could be SD options...

They look like STI pistols, maybe SPS is the Euro importer?

I think SPS guns are STI clones manufactured in Spain, maybe some components from Italy.
Their guns are not sold in the USA, there is some use of their high capacity magazines. I read one post on Benos to the effect that you could squeeze an extra round into one. |
