Guns You Wish They'd Make
I thought this might be a fun thread to do. I'm sure there are guns we all wish manufacturers would make so lets hear about them. Mine:
1. A Makarov pistol chambered in 9x19. 2. Single Stack Glock in 9 / 40 / 357.

A Ruger MKII pattern pistol chambered in .32 S&W that will feed wad cutters. I think it would make an excellent entry level bullseye center fire pistol. I’d buy one the day they hit the store.

It would be so cool if GLOCK made a AR-15 or some other type of tacitcal semi-auto rifle. Idk why they don't do it. It would be so great I bet!!!!
hahaha I am just joking |

A nice single-shot tip-up barrel .22 handgun.
A nice single-shot tip-up barrel .22 handgun.
I would buy a pair and encase them like dueling pistols. Rossi makes a gun similar to what I'm thinking about,,, But it's clunky and comes with a second barrel chambered for .45 Colt/.410. I would never use the .45/.410 barrel. Aarond .

more squeeze-cocking designs like the hk p7

The Makarov is a blowback action and will not hold 9mm P.
They tried, with a heavy slide and grooved chamber but it did not work. I have a picture of a custom Ruger Mk I .32 S&WL wadcutter gun. It would be a tough sell in the present small bullseye market and Ruger is not likely to tool up. Ol Gaston is probably looking at all the Internet Cries for a single stack 9mm and then looking at the sales of G36 and shaking his head. A nice .22 single shot pistol is something like the nice single shot shotgun I once read about. "Yeah, we might sell 50 of those a year." |

Hello Jim,,,

This is one of those things that would depend entirely on a targeted marketing strategy,,, A company like H&R or NEF already has a successful line of break-open rifles and shotguns,,, It really wouldn't be too much of a stretch for them to create a market for a matched set of dueling/plinkers. It would just take someone with a desire to make the idea happen. Aarond .

If someone dropped a 1911 trigger group and thumb safety in a double-stack 9mm polymer pistol with a grip that felt as good as a Walther PPQ or an H&K P30.
That's a gun I wish they'd make. |

A true compact 92fs. Basically an 84 in 9mm. I would also like it to have a shorter grip to only hold 10 rnds max as well.

Id like a modern version carbine similar to the old Marlin camp carbines but
Id like it to be made by Springfield armory and to accept their XD or XDM magazines. Nothing tacticool ,mall copish, or toy gun looking like most are being made nowdays. (ie keltec) Just a standard synthetic stock or a side folder stock optional. Id buy one in 9mm and 45 the day they hit the stores. Also would like to see someone come out with a poly frame version 4" 22LR similar to a Taurus 94 or the old S&W "camp gun". I carry a model 94 more than anything in the woods and a poly version with its durability and light weight would make my day. |

I know this is the semi-auto forum but the op's question is pretty open-ended so I will express my wish for a Ruger LCR revolver chambered in .327 Magnum.
A Smith Model 52, chambered in .40 S&W, would be an interesting pistol.

A non-Kel-Tec 22 mag semi-auto pistol. I have nothing against KT but would like to see more reliable options.

+1 on the 22 Mag.
I'd like to see more Glock 19 sized poly pistols with DA/SA triggers. A Sig P250 would be a great platform to try that on and get rid of that mile long DAO pull. Walther PPQ compact would fly off shelves IMO as would a PPQ in 45 ACP |

I have no imagination, so all I can think of either already is or has been made, mostly. One example is a lightweight Government Model. Or how about this: ever hear of a Star BM and BKM? I wish Colt made them--with or without the grip safety. As long as we're wishing.

A luger in 357 magnum (revolver - like a Coonan) - this would combine two of my favorite guns.
