Gunlocker Battery replacement

I purchased a Phoenix Gunlocker some 6 years ago (2005); naturally, the manufacturer apparently stopped making these after my purchase. The rechargable battery has finally expired (Jan 2011) and will no longer hold a charge. Are there instructions to (1) remove the battery; and (2) locations to purchase a rechargable battery replacement? Thank you.

This forum is for technical help on the site, not for questions about firearms, etc.

Please post your question in the General Discussion or Gear and Accessories forum.
