The best day ever!!
okay so its the second day of genral bow season, and its raining HARD so the deer were moving, me and my dad went to our usual area about 1/4 mile from our house on a privite ranch wich we hunt every year..my dad and i have only been bow hunting for about 3 years and only killed one bear, we took off from the truck and it wasent 10 min we seen two deer, one was a BUCK! i got down on one knee and waited for a clear shot, about 30 yards through the heart he was down, it was a forked horn with one antler broken off, later that day we went back up for a evening hunt so my dad could try to get a shot at a buck too, almost the exact same place he shot a spike at 50 yards, double lung and droped it in its tracks! these were by far no trophies but the fact me and my dad both got our first deer with bows at the same place on the same day made it an unforgetable hunt
