Full length picatinny on Encore Barrel

It seems logical to me, but it also seems I am all alone on thinking a full length picatinny rail is a good idea. Yes, I know it will add some weight, but nothing extreme. Maybe a pound over a normal rail.
I am going to be playing with iron sights, traditional scope, and forward scope on this rifle, So I'd prefer not to D&T all over the pace and then plug what I end up not needing. Plus should make it easier to adjust the relief on the forward scope. Already has 4 tapped in the back and one out front. A couple in the middle should hold it.
