SureFire Vs SportEar Ear Protection

I was looking for something for my ears on the range besides muffs which are too hot and uncomfortable for me. I saw the Sport Ear advertised and looked at a couple of videos. For $15 I jumped on them without doing my due diligence....shame on me. They do nothing and are a total waste of money. So then I did the right thing and tried SureFire which I knew to be a great company as I have had one of their great flashlights for years.

The SureFire is great, has documentation, nice case, a lanyard and most of all they work. So if you are looking for ear protection my opinion is to skip SportEar and for less money buy a pair of SureFire EP4 Sonic Defenders Plus. I have zero financial interest in SureFire.
