Hammerli Virginian
I recently acquired a 4 5/8" Hammerli Virginian in .357 magnum. It has a serial number of C XXX. I was hoping that someone with far greater knowledge of these could tell me the year given it has only a 3 digit serial?
I know for sure it's one of the early Swiss made ones, but after a decent Google dive I cant come up with any definitive answer.
