Jesse Ventura is pro 2A, he's also a retired Navy SEAL. What you see on TV is an act, he's the real deal and I would take him as back up any day.

#1: Harry Callahan's S&W 29, .44 Mag. The most powerful handgun in the world.
#2: James Bond's PPK #3: Indiana Jone's Webley .455 break-top. Especially notable is the "gun vs. sabre" scene, yet there he carries a S&W MkII #4: Lara Croft's HK USPs Yet the most legendary movie guns are still the countless SAA / Peacemakers etc. that epitomize the Western genre as such, even though I have no particular movie or scene in mind.

Indiana carries a couple different S&W 1917s and also uses a BHP and a P38 in the first movie. I don't think the Webley appears until Last Crusade and Crystal Skull.

The four-barreled COP .357 Derringer; though the safest place to be when it was being fired was directly in front of it.
I'd go with Serenities' captains hand gun or i'd give my 2nd youngest for a gun from The Weapon Shops of Isher

Just a reminder -- it's fine to include links, but it's against TFL's rules to post images if you don't personally own the rights to them.

Your favorite movie weapon?
When threads like this get resurrected, it's a good thing. Fun topic!
I'm of the opinion that "Die Hard" is the best action movie of its time, and I loved all of the "Lethal Weapon" movies. That Beretta was the first pistol I recognized, and I still think it's a bit of a unicorn. Sexy and rugged? The 94 is both. That gets the nod from me, barely edging out Shugart's M14 in "Blackhawk Down". |

FYI, Ventura was not a SEAL and never left The Phillipines during his tour as a Navy diver. He is a conspiracy theory Libertarian whacko poser. Big time. Turned pro-wrestler. Hollywooder. Goof-split-vote one-term Governer. But is pro 2A.

nash bridges, .38Super 1911a1, Jesse Ventura.....
From TV, CBS's NASH BRIDGES 1911a1 .38super. Fans and some gun forum members always thought Bridges packed a custom .40S&W or .45acp but in a scene Nash calls the comped .38super a ".38Colt".
Also, FWIW, Ventura moved to Mexico and RENOUNCED his US citizenship. He also got into a bar fight with SEAL Chris Kyle(the highly decorated sniper) & has said in several public forums that 9/11/2001 was fake. |

Shoulder cannon from 'Predator'. No recoil, good effects on target, don't have to chase brass all over the place, and, most importantly, it looks cool.

To tell you the truth, in all the excitement, I've kinda lost track of all the guns you guys listed.
But because I'm a revolver guy, there's only one. Do you have to ask what it is? Well do-ya punk? Sgt Lumpy |
