Factory Ammo Sources with Barnes X?
I have a 30-06 and don't reload, but want to try some factory Barnes (TSX) Triple Shock rounds for elk for penetration of the shoulder to anchor the animal immediately.
Do you recommend 165-gr. or 180-gr. for elk and what factory source is best for the Barnes bullet? Steve P.S. Besides shoulder shots, EXACTLY where do you put the crosshairs when shooting elk when they're broadside? |
