Ok, first off, thanks for everyone's help on developing .223 loads using W748 powder. Our first loads were as follows:

Powder: W748
Primer: WSR
Bullet: Remington 55gr FMJ w/c
Charge: 25.0g W748
OAL: to cannelure (about 2.2, as I recall. well beyond minimum)

Brass was some once-fired (mostly Winchester and Remington).

Good news is: worked flawlessly! This was only my second batch of rifle cartridges and my first batch of .223. I am happy to report no malfunctions and all ten fingers still attached.

Question:

Acquired some SS109 rounds for reloading. What is the max/min range on powder charge with W748 powder?
